Background Story of the Game
The World Before Roles: Long ago, when the world was still pure and roles of power hadn’t been assigned, two close friends, Maya and the Player. They lived in harmony.
The Call of Duty: One day, for the greater purpose of world management, roles were bestowed upon individuals, granting them immense responsibility and great power. Maya was entrusted with the vital task of protecting an ancient relic. A relic so powerful. if misused, it could disrupt the very core of the world.
To safeguard the relic, Maya was given the power of illusions. While this power was extraordinary, it came at a steep price. She was required to sever all ties with others and live in solitude, devoting herself entirely to her duty.
The Player’s Rebellion: When the Player learned of Maya’s fate, he rebelled, fighting against the decision with all his might. But the world’s order was unyielding, and his resistance was futile. In a final act of defiance, Maya intervened and struck a deal with the world: the Player would be spared if she took on her role without question.
The Player’s Exile: Though the Player’s life was spared, he was left to wander alone. The world, however, continued to persecute him. In an attempt to escape his pursuers, the Player stumbled into a rift in time, finding himself in a twisted, dreamlike world.
The Shadow’s Pursuit (Main Gameplay): Amidst the madness, the Player glimpses a familiar figure—the shadow of Maya. Driven by curiosity and longing, he sets out to pursue her, hoping to uncover the truth and rekindle the bond they once shared.
